APPRAISAL EDUCATION
During the time frame from January 1978 through July 1984, Mr. Abbott attended and successfully completed the course work and examinations offered by the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers (now known as the Appraisal Institute) necessary for the MAI designation.

Mr. Abbott has taught real estate appraisal courses at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama and has testified as an expert witness in United States Federal Court and United States Federal Bankruptcy Court in the Northern District of Florida as well as Circuit Court in Jefferson and Tuscaloosa Counties in Alabama and County and Circuit Courts in Bay, Walton, Okaloosa, Washington and Holmes counties in the Northwest Florida Panhandle.

In addition to real property appraisals, Mr. Abbott also prepares economic and feasibility studies and market analysis.

As of current date Mr. Abbott has completed the education requirements of the continuing education programs of the Appraisal Institute and the State of Florida.

HISTORICAL DATA
Walter L. Abbott was born in Pensacola, Florida in 1955 and educated in the Panama City, Florida school system. He graduated from the University of Alabama in December, 1977 with a major in Finance and Real Estate and minors in Math and Psychology. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree under the College of Commerce and Business Administration at the University of Alabama.

Mr. Abbott began his appraisal experience in January, 1977 with Appraisal Services of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He was employed by The Hearn Company of Birmingham, Alabama from 1978-1983, working in residential, commercial, industrial, multi-family, and special purpose property appraisal and analysis. He worked for the mortgage banking firm of Camp & Company in Birmingham, Alabama from October 1983 through July 1985 in the fields of real estate appraisal and mortgage banking, primarily involving income producing property.

He formed Abbott Appraisal Associates, Inc. in August 1985 and is engaged in single and multi-family residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural and vacant land, and special purpose property appraisal and analysis, including economic, feasibility studies, and insurance valuations.
